Linah is a biochemist with a background in molecular biology, genetic and metabolic engineering. She completed her graduate studies at Kansas state university, where her research focused on developing engineered cover crops with improved industrial and agricultural traits.
She is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Plant Breeding and Genetics group, working on improving date palm production and quality through genomics, breeding, and genetics. She is particularly motivated to pursue translational research that delivers real impact in the field and supports economic growth. She enjoys mentoring students, leading collaborative projects, and building connections across disciplines to solve challenging problems.
